This stylish poster features the unique design that was created for our Crawia lampshades range.
This design was inspired by the beautiful slate fences along the paths of the north west Wales quarrying areas. In the dictionary, ‘craw’ is defined as ‘a piece of waste slate.’ These are the wastes; the feeble amongst the mighty. But still they stand. Some have described ‘crawia’ as scars. But scars or the imperfect can be beautiful and these ‘crawia’ inspired us to create a textile design for our lampshades. This is our tribute to the ‘crawia’ and the craftsmen who created and installed them.
Print will be placed on a backing board and wrapped in cellophane, and will be posted to you in a hardback envelope.
